11.15 am, 24th. instant that about no on on the 22nd. instant while his junk was sailing off Ngo Kung near Ping Chau Island an unnumbered fishing boat of 20 piculs capacity sailed from the direction of Ngp Kung came alongside 6 men boarded his junk, all their faces were besmeared with black substance, each armed with a revolver, and one with a knife. One man pointed a revolver at him and demanded his money. He was blindfolded with a piece of cloth, driven into the hold,

which the robbers covered with the hatch and a coil of ropes placed on top to keep it down. His two fokis were also put in the same hold. The robbers ransacked the junk and stole $50 in money,

16 suits of clothing, and a wooden clock, an oar, 2 pairs of shoes and a marine compass total value $61.16. The robbers sailed away in an unknown direction. They spoke Hakka and Punti dialects.
